High Cascade Snowboard Camp and Mountain Creek have partnered to announce High Cascade at Mountain Creek camp programs.   High Cascade Snowboard Camp (HCSC) is bringing all of the coaching, activities, and fun of a summer at Mt. Hood to Vernon, New Jersey for the entire 2013/14 season.  High Cascade’s premiere coaches will guide riders through a specific progression to make them the best rider they can be, while HCSC counselors fill in the gaps with epic off-snow activities.  Programs include single day, season long, weekend and holiday camp offerings.

2013 Best Edit Contest Results

There’s no doubt Creek has some killer talent, both on the snow and behind the lens, which makes selecting the season’s best edit a difficult task. Skilled riders and skiers, editing that rivals the best in the industry and pure passion for the sport that reminds us why we do what we do…you kids continue to make us proud! After an intense and wildly entertaining deliberation fueled by plenty of Red Bull, the critics have spoken. Here's how it all played out...

The Not-So-Legendary Banked Slalom

This past weekend we took a trip back in time to 1987 in celebration of 25 Years of Snowboarding (1987-2013) at the resort. It was a weekend filled with mullets, mustaches, methods and plenty of vintage style. The high point of the weekend was the first annual Not-So-Legendary Banked Slalom event. Under sunny skies and classic spring riding conditions over 100 RADically dressed competitors took to the course of banks, berms, rollers and booters. Racers were judged not only on their time but also their overall style, and the tight and technical course quickly separated the pretenders from the contenders. It was an awesome display of carnage and style as the riders put it all on the line for glory. While the poachers trained up for some epic snake runs through the course. When it was over here’s how the winners stacked up:
